Ist jetzt mal ne ganz doofe Frage.
Da mein Mann und ich ja die kirchliche Trauung nachholen möchten, haben wir uns schon ein passendes Datum nächstes Jahr raus gepickt. Es ist noch über ein Jahr Zeit. Sollen wir dennoch jetzt schon bei der Burg die Kapelle reservieren?
Wir sind zwar fest entschlossen, nur stellt sich noch die Frage, ob wir es schaffen, das nötige Kleingeld zusammen zu sparen. Ich bin davon überzeugt, mein Mann jedoch nicht. Aber wenn wir jetzt reservieren, ist das dann verbindlich? Ich meine, ich weiß ja ned, wie sich das mit der Stellensuche von meinem Mann noch entwickeln wird.
Also ich würde die Kapelle so früh wie möglich reservieren wenn ihr euch sicher seid dass ihr wirklich dort heiraten wollt und auch das Datum schon feststeht. Ich denke schon dass es verbindlich ist, aber normalerweise kann man schon noch so ein halbes Jahr vorher oder so absagen, kommt halt immer aufs Gemüt an von dem der das verwaltet :P Aber wenn es euch finanziell nicht reicht können die euch ja nicht zwingen dort zu heiraten, die werden dann wahrscheinlich eher den Termin einem anderen Paar geben bei denen sie sicher sind dass sie ihr Geld auch bekommen.
Zwingen könnten sie uns schon. Sie müssten uns nur alles bezahlen xD

Ich weiß nicht, ob dir meine Antwort hilft, da ich nicht mehr genau weiß, wie die Geschichte war...
Aber mir hat vor Kurzem jemand erzählt, dass auch für die Hochzeit ihres Sohnes gebucht war und er dann wohl kurz vorher kalte Füße bekommen hat - jedenfalls hat die Hochzeit nicht stattgefunden, aus welchem Grund auch immer.
Ich weiß jetzt nicht mehr ob es da nur ums Standesamt oder auch um die Kirche oder Location gegangen ist, jedenfalls musste die Familie unter Eid aussagen, dass an diesem Tag wirklich keine Hochzeit stattfinden wird, da ja der "Verdacht" bestand, sie einfach wo anders (günstiger?) abzuhalten.
Wie gesagt, ich weiß jetzt nicht, ob das für die Kirche und / oder was anderes gegolten hat, aber besser vorsichtig sein mit fixen Reservierungen, wenn man sich noch gar nicht sicher ist.
Sonst mit dem zuständigen Pfarrer offen reden: fragen, wie verbindlich die Reservierung ist, und wie es im Falle einer "Verschiebung" aufgrund von euren Finanzen ausschaut.
Im September bin ich in der gewählten Location, dank unseres Betriebsausfluges. Da könnte ich dann alles noch mal genau absprechen.
